WE GLADLY ACCEPT EBT

We thank our CalFresh shoppers for choosing to spend your Federal benefits with local farmers, supporting our local economy and ensuring the resiliency of our food system.

How to use your EBT at market

Visit the Market Booth

Visit the Market Info Booth at the corner of Union Street and Commercial (inside SAEL School during Winter). Ask to exchange EBT for tokens.

Swipe your EBT card

The market manager or volunteer will happily swipe your card for whatever amount you’d like and give you wooden tokens in exchange.

Receive Tokens

Each wooden token is worth $1 and you can use it at any booth that sells CalFresh eligible products. If you don’t use them all that day, save them for another day!

Market Match

If you are a Nevada County resident, you are eligible for up to $15 in Market Match. You can do this at the Market Booth. June-November only.
